Ingredients for Quick Milk Powder Peda Recipe

  • 2 cups milk powder

  • 1 cup milk

  • 2 teaspoons ghee (clarified butter)

  • ¼ cup powdered sugar

  • ½ teaspoon cardamom powder

  • Sliced pistachios for garnish

Step-by-Step Instructions for Peda Recipe

  • In a non-stick pan, heat 1 teaspoon of ghee over medium flame.
  • Add milk and milk powder, stirring continuously to prevent lumps. Keep stirring until the mixture becomes thick and creamy.
  • Mix in the powdered sugar and the remaining 1 teaspoon ghee. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and starts leaving the sides of the pan.
  • Sprinkle in cardamom powder and mix well. Cardamom adds that classic aroma to pedas.
  • Remove from heat and let the mixture cool slightly. Shape into small balls and flatten them slightly to form traditional peda shapes.
  • Place a slice of pistachio on top of each peda for a beautiful presentation.
  • Allow the pedas to cool completely before storing them in an airtight container.
